the things people say/do without thinking of others, especially those closest to them.. are absolutely appalling. or, insulting. insulting is my word of the day. is it such an ill task to remember people? is it that hard to think before you speak, when your actions may hurt someone?

tables turn. some get tipped over. others set afire. others still, meet the axe.

either way, they all end up in splinters. even those made of ironwood.

if i were to step into the shoes of another.

i would be a monster.

as it is, i'm just a sucker. a joke. a poor stupid moog. i wait.

funny, how it is.

exist without me.

how can you be so certain that you're able.

if you cry when i'm gone... or, just at the thought.

that's all i ask.

i thought about this.

i think i can sleep for now.

my terrible mind will rest.

and then, i am wake again. horror anew.

i live this.

i'm so very tired.

the horse died, far back... burnt by the sun.

been walking ...crawling... many, many miles.

a short respite.

away from the burning sands.

this is all i ask.
