so i watched the show on the facility where i work....they skipped lots of steps(which i understand)
but...they didnt show all the cob jobs and fuck ups that it takes to finish the nyc 1-160 cars...
or the fact that we have to shut down for two weeks cuz lapa in brazil doesnt do their job correctly....
or ...that out of those 800 employees they mentioned there are...only arnd 390 of us actually build the cars...the rest are office workers
or
heres the big one...
that in march they are downsizing from our current 750 ppl to like 200-250.....only like 30-40 labor involved ppl left ..
because we have NO more contracts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

choke is one of my faves. yes ive read and watched. movie was ok. they did a pretty good job. i was truly wondering how they were going to generate some of the scenes in the book into people brains on a screen. the book will always be better.
