so i got asked by a friend if i would be interested in getting involved in the making of a short film. i'm not sure how on the down low i need to be about it so no names are going to be mentioned. and that means no sharing of the storyline either. what i can tell you is that i am having a crack at illustrating the storyboard for said sort film. this is brand new territory for me since i usually only sketch and paint abstract portraiture. but after spending a bit of time breaking the story down to workable frames i'm going to have a go! i'll wait to hear if the changes i made need to be reworked or if anythin else needs adding etc then i'll take my best shot.

its the first time in a really long while that i have been excited about my artwork.

i recently watched Repo! The Genetic Opera and one of the writers Terrance Zdunich has really caught my attention! he is a singer, a writer, an illustrator, a stage actor and now a screen actor. for some reason this man has inspired me to pick my pencils back up and let my creativity re-emerge from the place it has been locked up in for some time now. this, along with a great story and a passionate short film nut, have started something.... hopefully the story writer/film nut likes what i have done with his work and i can get moving on it. perhaps after a little while i can post a few pics or something... i'll keep you posted anyways!
