She remembers the first time their eyes met. He looked at her alot that night, and left a lasting impression. As time went by they became friends and she would catch him looking at her. And after friends they were lovers. He would look and touch. A brief moment in time. After lovers, the friendship hung in a kind of limbo. Awkward greetings and goodbyes. Still, he would look. And after the awkwardness they became friends again. Greetings and goodbyes became easier. And then he met someone. Tho he held another hand, he continued to look. Unsure of what to make of this, she tried to put it out of her mind. She decided to stay away for a while. Staying away helped... until the next time she saw him. He continues to look and she continues to not understand.
