actually hun, you don't want them to stitch it up at this point..once a wound has been open for a certain amount of time it's dangerous to close it back up because you risk the fact that you're sewing up bacteria that's gotten in to the wound from having been open so long. it's not a good Idea...perhaps butterfly strips but no stitches.
if you aren't already, make sure you prop it up with pillows. you should be trying to keep it above your heart,especially if it's still bleeding some.
