As you all may know my daughter has Down syndrome and yesterday i took her to the ds clinic for her yearly. Well i found out that she also has autism. I pretty much knew she had it since she was about one, but it was hard to actually hear it come out of the doctor's mouth. Seems like my poor kiddo can't ever catch a break! I suppose we can only take it one day at a time. She's a great kid: smart, funny, creative, and beautiful and i know she's going to be just fine with a little patience.
