Not my personal favorite dream......

So, a quick up to speed for those who haven't read all my old dream blogs....(which got fucking deleted when I tried to edit some spelling mistakes last week..what the fuck is that about???) Zombie isn't just my user name here, it's something I looooove thinking about: anything zombie-esque really...fascinated by films, books, and also of the far-fetched possibilty of the undead walking the earth, which would begin the 'End Times', so to speak. Since I was pretty young, I have had this fascination, and also my dreams have been flooded by them. Weird and creepy? Maybe. But, whatever, I usually dig the dreams. They're always extremely detailed.

Moving on...I had one last night that I found to be rather disturbing, rather than 'exciting'. Unlike most I have, this one had less of a story, explanation, and background...it just kind of..well, existed, I guess..

So, the seting is unusual too.... I think I have to give props to Thistle's new set for the setting to be honest...love the post-apoc look and feel, and that's the way everything looked outside in the dream: Bright sun, barren wasteland. Looked like not only was there a zombie infestation going on, it also looked to be the aftermath of a nuclear disaster. Yeah, so, I and a few others are guarding outside this like underground storage facility, where apparently a ton of survivors are living. Myself and a few others are out just kind of walking around the perimeter of the building, keeping an eye out for zombies (duh, of course). Nothing really going on, just walking around, having a smoke, not really talking to the others. A dust storm starts up, and it becomes a lot harder to see. (this goes on for a bit..such a sloooow moving dream, quite unusal) Eventually, we see a figure moving towards us from the storm. With all the sand blowing around, it's kind of hard to see them, but for some reason, I recognize it's my father. I lower my gun (yeah, of course I have a gun...how else will I drop the undead?) I tell the others, "It's ok, it's my dad". They all kind of look at me suspiciously. I call out "Hy dad, over here! You made it in one piece!" The figure stops, and turns now to face me. It starts moving in a slow dragging gait towards me. I realize as he gets closer, he in fact did not make it, and has become one. I pull up the gun and sight it in on his head, but don't shoot. He slowly comes directly towards me, and I look at him, studying the damage. His left eye is completely gone. It looks like something bit off most of the flesh as well on the left side of his face, and you can see right though his cheek, into his mouth. His neck is torn to shreds, and his tongue is hanging through the bottom of his jaw. Weird shit. I let him get all the way up close to where he's gotta be nomore than 5 feet away from my gun before I unload and watch his head burst like a smashed fruit. It like doesn't phase me in the dream at all, and the other are all freaked out by it. (there's a lot more to the dream, but it's completely boooooooring....exploring the inside of the facility, like a fucking tour...the rest is stupid, so I'm leaving it out...no more action in it.)

So yeah. Dad becomes zombie, I blow his brains out. That's it. it kinda shook me up for a bit, just because it was so random. I don't know, whatever. Hopefully my brain can get a bit more creative, and get some better material for the next dream...
