filed for a leave of absence sept 10th - 17th. i am GOING TO HAVANA. its really really going to happen. i guess im a pessimist because i always tend to assume Murphys Law will take effect whenever i have something good coming up... like there will be a sudden notice on the boards that Havana is closed until further notice or something... ah well. i always say better to prepare for the worst than assume the best.
i mean; its great and all if the best HAPPENS, but still, preparing for the worst case is never a bad idea.
the exams went pretty well; although we were expected to go FOUR HOURS without a cigarette; so needless to say, i was getting REALLY pissy toward the end. i did a good job. im damn proud of myself.
i really am damn proud of myself for the way im dealing with things.
LIST OF THINGS TO DO (no particular order):
-buy linsey a graduation present that will blow her away.
-graduate and get my degree and license in cosmetology. i just found out today i have over a thousand hours in. that was encouraging.
-write my aunt jane a letter. shes not feeling well, i love her, and its always so cool to get real mail.
-BUY A CAR.
-shoot another set for here (takers? anyone? please?)
-shoot another set with george.
-get an apartment out in AZ or CA or NYC. with a roommate, im sure. aside from the fact that ive never lived alone before; the payments would be more doable.
-make out with Fatality
-cut down a quarter on the suboxone i take.
-finalize the divorce.
-buy more camel lights.
-start going to NA meetings.
-have sex. girl sex. boy sex. just the sex. i miss the sex.
-take responsibility for my actions and clean up my own messes. literally and figuratively speaking.
-CONTACT ALISSA BRUNELLI where in the name of Creation is this lady hiding?? is it me? do i stink?
-fake it til i make it. in other words, keep on doing what i need to do and stop complaining.
-learn to enjoy tea.
-meet Liz in minneapolis/st paul this month.
-empty out my fucking room and throw away every picture i own with nicks face in it. thats going to be a hard one.
-gain 10lbs.
-meet the girls on here who inspire me and motivate me and keep me from just giving up.
-grow a beard.
