I think Hectorian probably has it right... I was trying to think of something to say but I think these guys have it pretty much covered. In my eyes there is no real option B though. Friendship could only be a possibility if he wasn't possessive and that clearly isn't the case here. It is my opinion but Id say that you probably have to cut him loose before it continues to cycle on endlessly... leading to a HUGE blow out! frown
