Soo Sunday was one month sober! My sister, her boyfriend, and I went to sushi to celebrate. I also attended two AA meetings and got my 1 Month chip.. yay! Nathan (my tattoo mentour) bought me a lovely bouquet of flowers and tattooed a flower on my elbow.. what a day!
Shawn's memorial service was Saturday afternoon... I feel more at peace with the situation...

beauty is pain, oi. When I was growing up and I'd dye my hair crazy colors and bitch about comments I'd get or having to wear curlers for a play my mom would always say "beauty knows no pain". I fucking hated it when she said that . . . there was this fealing of self sacrifice instead of self fulfillment that I didn't like.
My backpiece is almost done and I'm just starting to deal well with the pain. I have a pretty good aftercare routine though.

im sorry to hear that hun....recently i lost my uncle to heroin...he was and always will be very dear to my heart...he was only 35 and i agree that life is too short to dewll on stupid petty things....i am in the same mind set as you right now....hope you are doing well...take care
