So, yeah, I wouldn't just sit around and let a friend die on me. An attempt at mouth-to-something resuscitation was the very least I could do. Stupid video card is gonna be expensive so I'm just using a spare SLOW computer at the moment. But at least I'm not lost any more.

Things would be so much better if his work had actually paid him the back pay that he was due, but he's now owed four months worth of back pay

His money basically pays the essentials like mortgage, endowment,life insurance, food and all that crap, plus the loan repayments for our joint debt, the rest of the debt is mine plus I have to pay the leccy and gas, as his money doesn't stretch to covering those aswell. If his back pay had of come through in the February pay packet things would be better as the overdraft would have been cleared in full and we'd have had enough left over to clear the gas bill aswell, but as it is, the overdraft is going to be there again, which means the bank are more than likely to start returning direct debits again this month Hence why I need a job NOW!

Oh, and nice try with the gang thing, but I already know you were trying to be subtle and thelastbeliever blew your plans out of the water
