The last couple of days have been good and not so good. Nothing exceptionally bad has happened, nothing like my great great aunt Vera dying after being tracked down by the FBI for narcotics smuggling or anything like that, although that would be quite amusing ... I suppose it'd be amusing because I haven't got a great great aunt Vera ... but anyway ...
Yesterday I got someone to sort my laptop out so I can get my wireless connection working ... I was really happy, then when I got home today after work, guess what ....??? The fucking thing isn't working ... Typical.
I'm not very technically minded regarding computers, I switch it on and as long as it works that does me, if it doesn't work then I get pissed off although my natural nature is quite placid ...
So, getting away from that I'm hoping that I can get to Amsterdam in October, I've been there three times, the place is so cool that I had thought about getting a job over there two years ago, however, seeing as I can only speak English then that option slowly discipated because speaking German, Spanish or Serbo Bolivian Japanese wasn't on my CV. I've often frequented This Place in Leidseplein, it used to be the local jail!! Anyhoo, it rocks! The Red Light District rocks as well, not just for the women behind the windows ...
... but the area too, some of the bars are great and the ambience is just as good too!
Anyway, I'll keep you updated on that. The fling with Mandy was just a fling, she wasn't my type, her accent was
which put me off, I don't want to be accent-ist, but holy crap, I think I could understand Polish better!
