What a week ...
As you knew, I've been off this week. I've been with Annette, my friend from Japan. We had a great time and had a last get together yesterday for a good few drinks. She goes back to Newcastle tomorrow as she is taking her parents to Japan with her.
They fly out from Newcastle on Tuesday, firstly to Paris, then onto Japan. I'll miss her a lot, she's doing one more year in Japan then may well be back again. She invited me over there for a holiday, so I may seriously give it some thought. She's been through a lot since she's been out there, in her first few weeks she got attacked and spent a month in hospital ... luckily there was no lasting physical problems, but she has to have an operation on her eye next month as her attacker almost ripped her eyelid off ... not nice at all. She is a very brave person and I love her loads.
On Wednesday just gone I went out with Mandy, remember me saying that she sent texts that were difficult to understand? Anyhoo, we met up, had a drink, had a pizza and then went back to hers where things ended up getting even spicier than the pizza! I won't bore you with the in's and out's ...
suffice to say we both had a nice day and hope to see each other again soon.
Today has been a little quiet, I went to the gym this morning. Not that I wanted to as I could have spent all day today asleep. Tomorrow I see my bro then Monday it's back to work ... At least the week has been a good one, no more time off for me until near the end of next month when I have four days off.
I hope that you guys are all fine and happy. I'll check in again asap ... however, for now, it's ... Peace my friends.
