it's kind of an on going international lesbian joke that all lesbians are either a cat lesbian or a dog lesbian. There's not actually a difference, it pretty much boils down to what kind of animal you prefer. Right now, we're dog sitting for my roommate's mom and it hadn't even been here for more then an hour and I already had had enough.

I have degrees in biology and art, but I'm currently the assistant manager of a bakery/cafe in New York...working while my better half obtains his masters in printmaking.

My bio focus was split between ecology and neuroscience so it's been kind of hard for me to narrow down what I would like to do with it. Right now I think I want to teach high school level biology and art simultaneously. However, for right now I'm slinging coffee and trying to be as supportive as possible to heresy200. Besides he wants to teach at a university so there's the possiblity of free tuition for me if the school he chooses to work at has a decent biology or education program.

Re: technogeeks vs. the general run of geeks -- well, these days, it's possible to be geeky about pretty much any area of arcane knowledge, whether it be Latin or the history of the Old Empire in Star Wars. So just saying someone is "geeky" doesn't actually convey much meaningful information.

A technogeek is someone who has an aptitude for building and understanding computers and other complicated electronic devices. A true technogeek should be able to build a TiVo equivalent from scratch and will know more about pretty much everything sold in Best Buy's electronics department than most of its employees. And, therefore, technogeeks are teh hott. wink

tonight is (was) halloween... and i shouls say Who Cares! after all i live in italy and nobody but bars and clubs that have raised their prices, seems interested in halloween !

so once again, who cares about halloween!

so ok. it's sat night. i just watched my soccer team lose a game on tv and i'm so pissed off!

and among other things (like not having a girlfriend) my so loved yellow shoes are almost destroyed and now i really don't know what to buy...

i'm gonna miss them so much!
