I'm bored so I'm gonna rant...
So today I had my unemployment interview because the last job I had, I was forced to quit due to my medical condition. The whole time I was on the phone with the guy I wanted to ask him why I was being forced to plead my case to the state of NJ as to why I should be supported for a while when I've worked my ass off in NJ for the past 6 years. It makes me sick to think that because I don't have a child I'm not eligible to get medicaid even though I have a life threatening disease. I'm sorry I've been responsible my whole life and didn't get knocked up, but I'm not gonna apologize for having a disorder that will kill me if it goes untreated. I worked for a retail pharmacy for years and saw people abusing the system on a daily basis and I was never allowed to say a damn word. I can go on disability, but I CHOOSE not to because I believe I have something I can contribute to the community by working, but if I get denied for unemployment, I might not have a choice. Am I crazy for being pissed off at the way this shit works? UGHHH... I'm annoyed but I'll keep hoping that things will change

You have right to be annoyed hoop jumping sucks. I try and jump them as quickly as possible. Often things go more smoothly than I anticipate. It's the over thinking I do sometimes that's the worst part. Good luck.
