So I planted my Lettuce Sunday in some containers and window boxes. Salads with fresh Lettuce everyday in about a week. Yum.







RubySparkle passed along a nice dressing recipe. I decided to share one of my favorites as well. Please post any favorites of your own.

1/2 cup Rice Wine Vinegar
6 tablespoons sugar
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons Sweet hot mustard
2 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
Dash or 2 of Franks Red Hot
1 teaspoon celery seeds

Combine vinegar, sugar, oil, mustards and celery seeds in nonaluminum medium saucepan. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves and dressing comes to boil. Remove from heat. Season with salt and pepper. Cool completely.
