Yesterday morning I went to Stanley Park in Westfield Massachusetts. I know there are other Stanley Parks but this is ours. Its a mile or two from my Apartment so I often walk, run, or bike there. In the summer they have a wonderful Rose Garden.
The reason I made the trip yesterday was to fly a kite. The breeze was steady and sweeping perfect conditions for such an endeavor. I had bought the kite several years ago and this was the first time I had used it. It was fun it was great to be out in the fresh air and sunshine after the winter months. I felt full of life. Everyone Go Fly A Kite!
The park is maintained by an endowment from The Frank Beverage Foundation original owner and President of Stanley Home Products.
Years ago he imported Black Squirrels to Stanley Park from of all places The Black Forrest in Germany. When friends from other parts of the State come to visit they Freak out. Many people have not seen Black Squirrels. They chase my Cat Taboo.

I think that I will start looking for one on my thrift excursions. It is certainly windy enough here. It has been years, really.
