There is going to be another civil war in this country. I know, I know, it sounds like panicky alarmism, but think about it. Look at history and compare. The gap between rich and poor has become so vast, and is widening by the picosecond. There is a slow but steady dissolution of the middle class occuring, predicated by lax immigration policies and outsourcing. Eventually, the middle class will entirely disappear, leaving only the haves and the have nots. Combine that with wealth fed opulence, add just a dash of economic downturn, simmer, and blammo!! All it will take is a strong revolutionary leader, and we're off to war with ourselves. Never happen, say you? THe romans said that too, as did the French(and fuck the french, by the way, but still...), let's not forget good old czarist russia and the bolshevik revolution, and of course, China.
