just realized that my finances are fucked for the next few months.at least i picked the right time to stop drinking!it really just means that i'm down to about $20/day which,while low,sure ain't starving.would be even better if i started cooking again,though chances of that are slim.i don't burn water,but it does get a bit scalded.
on a lighter note,perhaps,the buffet i'm at has some kind of lettuce they call $B!+(Bjew's marrow." it looks like normal romaine or some variant to me,though.is that name common,or are these guys closet anti-semites?

one hundred yen store
The one close to where I used to live (alas I am no longer in Japan) had all sorts of food for only 100 yen, it's not fresh veggies, but the staples are there and they are worth the look.
