I went to the Roberto-Venn school of luthery in Phoenix, AZ, then got selected from my class to apprentice in boston with a master luthier. After that, I moved to woodstock with michael tobias (tobias basses, MTD basses) and i am now his apprentice, and i have my own shop. Lots of work, but i enjoy everything about it.

i looked at zebrawood when i was coming up for the spec for my guitar, it is pretty cool, though you cant go wrong with ash, it has such a nice grain and gives a good tone, a real woody sound!
