I've got my application for the Tayside Fire and Rescue "Wholetime Firefighter" position, I somehow managed to fuck up a few sections which I'll rectify but on the whole I think I've done a decent job selling myself. I've also applied to do SQA Highers this year, if push comes to shove I'll do that and then finally start making desicions next year.

Thanks to Lackwit I find myself walking around without glasses trying to improve my eyesight with the help of positive thinking and 'eye exercises'. If my eyesight improves over the rest of this year then I'll give the credit to looking at breasts from different angles in 30 minute intervals.

Something I just remembered about which I think is stupid is when people (paticularly young people) laugh during gore/horror films, I can understand the occasional laugh but why is it everyone starts to laugh when someone is being tortured/killed?* Is there some sort of inside joke that I don't get? If so, please let me know.

Oh and while I still haven't got rid of anyone on my friends list yet don't worry, I will soon

*I have to state that Land of the Dead is okay to laugh at as it is clearly a comedy.
