In a day like this, but in differents years two of my favorite rock stars died...

The first one was Jim Morrison of The Doors died on july 3th, 1971 (40 years ago)

I used to heard a lot of the doors music when I was 15 or 16.
This is one of my favorite songs:


And this is from the last tour of "the doors" Personally, I don't like that idea, althought Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger did the music, they don't have the right to call themself the doors. Anyway, I had a great time when I went to see them on stage.


And the second one, was a fictional character, but for me one of the best rock stars that ever exist... and of course one of my favorite rock bands of all the time:
Ziggy Stardust (Bowie Suddendly ended with his character on july 3th of 1973)


Thanks to the Doors movie that I get the influence of that music, Velvet underground's music, Iggy pop and of course Ziggy Stardust (David Bowie)
I heard on the doors movie two songs of "The velvet underground" then I was interested by that music. And of course you can't talk about the velvet without talk about ziggy.

The last gig, the last concert of ziggy stardust is one of my favorite live albums of all the time. I got the VHS, the DVD and both versions in Cd, the standar edition and the 30th anniversary collectors edition.
