Zen is crazy emotionally unstable.
Anger issues, I'm starting to suspect.
..I wonder what it would take to get her into some sort of program for that...
Elephant tranquilizers and a hefty bribe?
Seriously.. there is no rhyme or reason to her rage.
We were having a perfectly innocuous discussion about corgi tattoos, and then suddenly "Who the FUCK ties the trash bag up without taking it out to the trash can??"
Me: "Uhhhh.. Wait, which trash? Whats going on?"
Zen: "The fucking trash I'm standing right in front of! Who the fuck would do that?"
Now, i was thinking that I had a bunch of friends over last night, and some stayed to clean up a little after, so it was probably the work of little Tuesday, but theres no reason to direct her rage. I would have taken it out myself had I known at all that it had happened before Zen started screaming. I'm resolved to not pander to her rage. If you respond to it, it just reinforces the behavior. Maybe.. just maybe.. One day she'll arrive of her own accord to the conclusion that asking people things in a regular, inside voice not tinged with sarcasm and disdain, gets results, whereas screaming, stomping, sighing dramatically, slamming things and cursing gets her nowhere with me or most other people.
But thats the thing.. Why isn't there a middle ground between screaming and slamming things (she's doing the latter in the kitchen right now) and normal conversation?
Corgi tattoos.. C.S.I... PISSED AND SCREAMING.
I think she might be crying now..
Wait, this might be PMS.
But still.. I don't like the fact that theres no real differentiation between pms and her normal tantrums except that when she's menstrual moody she gets sad after, whereas normally she just screams herself out and then huffs silently for a while.
Fun!
