A complex question deserves a complex answer. But since I'm up against bedtime, I'll try to convey my thoughts concisely.

It's all about money... You find out what makes you money and you do more and more of it... Last time I paid attention, SG has about 1,500 applications a week from girls wanting to 'go pink'. So there is no shortage of T&A for their viewing public. Their viewing public pays membership fees. And who is their viewing public? Mostly quiet guys, older, who have an affinity for young nude girls and young girls wanting to see other young girls they'd like to be like. (Someone they can identify with.) They can tell by 'voting' stats and reading comments what those that pay membership want to see. And they go about giving it to them. The market drives the business.

There are more and more non tattooed and pierced girls on SG because they simply outnumber those that are pierced and tattooed. If there is a choice between an 18 year old natural beauty that is unmarked and unpierced and a 28 year old mother that is not as pretty but covered in ink and steel, the one that is easiest to PhotoShop and appeals to their paying audience will be 'chosen'.

There aren't more 'new' punk-rock-crazy-hot-heavily tattooed girls in SG because frankly, it takes someone very foolish, very brave or set with a lifetime income to permanently alter their look into someone whom will have a hard time achieving later in life set goals. Decisions made when one is barely legal can have 'limiting' economic and/or career effects later on in life. And that has nothing to do with having nude images on the web for the rest of time... That is a whole other subject.

And more and more sets are looking 'pornographic' (arguable definition) because even though you 'only' have to show full breasts and behind to be accepted, it has evolved into 'if you don't show every damn thing you were born with' and your 'competition' will, you would be bypassed. Who do you think will be chosen to go pink? (The girl that shows more.) The ante has been upped to that point though not officially. They still draw the line at insertion but one never knows what the next hurdle will be to be chosen. I'm not saying it will go in that direction but these type of market driven things tend to. Though I haven't seen a Penthouse in years, I remember in my youth that they showed 'spreads'. The last one I opened showed full explicit intercourse and urination... No, I'm not comparing SG to PH but merely showing market and content evolution.

I like SG and it 'disturbs' me at the same time... I find it interesting and informational in and as a social experiment. (I photograph.) I became a member because I'd been asked by three different girls to shoot sets of them. (None ever happened.) And yes, I'm an older male that enjoys the nude female form... One moment I see a nice shot of a lovely woman and the next moment I see a shot that perplexes me a bit and leaves me wondering, "What was she thinking?" And most times I'm left wondering just what will SG do next...
