Been forever since logging on and an eternity since last writing anything here.
I've finished my undergraduate work and am waiting to hear back from grad schools about Fall 2009. Might be going to IN, IL, or PA... if nothing good comes back from them, I'll try a few more schools... OH, CA, AZ. I'm planning to work my ass off, pay off as much debt as I can (I have comparatively little), finish my back piece and start on a sleeve, and take a fucking vacation. I've found a job working for a geographic consulting company and am finally feeling like I'm taking steps forward. I'm still working every so often at the restaurant, but I'm almost outta there, Thank God.
I was having a bad case of holiday blues a couple of days ago, but going home to see my little sisters put it all back in perspective. Christmas was pretty good, kinda low-key, but everyone was there.
As for the man, he's realized I'm leaving for school with or without him, so he's finally getting his ass in gear to graduate, too. Late 20's + independent girlfriend apparently = getting your shit together. I'm just happy I didn't have to play the bad guy and never did start in with ultimatums and all.
Still running and cycling... I'd like to do a century ride come spring, but we'll see how long it takes to train for that kinda stuff.
Ah well, it's nice to have a little while to peruse pictures of lovely ladies again....
