Just got, and began watching the Mel Brooks box set... How I love that man...sigh...
This is my little break... I got all four wisdom teeth pulled Mon., and thank God I got Percocets, cuz I gotta spend all weekend at my parents house for my sisters high school graduation stuff.
Doing a major emotional re-evaluation, now that I've got some pieces of the puzzle that I was missing. Not that it matters to anyone online, but, thought I'd kinda apologize for the weird entry the other day... my girl was acting up.
It's funny to watch all of these high school graduates... they're so excited and so damn young, it seems. I wanna tell them to make the most of this summer, cuz honestly, no matter what happens in it, you'll never have another quite like it, I think. But, MAN, are they young... I can't get over it. And, old as it makes me feel to compare myself to them, I realize how very young I still am. I'm prob'ly not even a quarter of the way through this thing... so what do I really expect long, LONG term, ya know? I mean, it's easy to plan for after college, even after a masters... but career, then later in my career... then.... what, another career? kids? retirement?
