Last night when we went out
An amazing night on the town
We walked and talked so long
It seemed that nothing could go wrong
As I walked you to your door
We kissed for many hours,and I held you for many more
We wound up back at my place we spent the whole night there
Your head found rest on my shoulders as my fingers gently combed your hair
Watching you sleep I fell asleep
Until this morning I woke to see
The bed beside me without you
Now i finally see what's true
Last night the night we fell in love,it seems
Was only just my dream
So I roll over and pull the covers closer to my chin
To dream another dream of us in love again.
