My neighbor fell off his roof. I do not know if he is ok yet.

I was told it could have been worse if I was not outside when it happened. There was quite a bit of blood pouring from his head because he completely had his back flattened out with legs over his head falling backwards at least 20 ft off the ground before crashing into a small row of brick stones.

When I got to him his eyes were going back and forth very rapidly, the adrenaline he must have been experiencing made him want to jump up, but I made him sit still and put pressure on the back of his head to stop the bleeding.

I hate the sign of blood. Whats worse my dog is going nuts because I am not walking her, the guys kids are freaking out because their dad has blood coming from his head. And whats worse the paramedics, after listening to him say over and over that he is ok, let him stand up and walk around.

Shortly after this he drops and goes into a small seizure due to the blood welling up behind the blood clot in his head because they didn't make him sit still. The next thing you know he is coming to and trying to go crazy because he doesn't understand that he just had a seizure so they have to sedate him.

In the mean time I have to make sure his kids call their grandparents once the guys girlfriends parents arrive and then send the guys grandparents (who couldn't find their way to his girlfriends house) just follow the ambulance to the hospital.

What a night. Poor guy, I have had a concussion like that and it literally had me seeing stars and tunnel vision.

Oh, wow...I can't believe the paramedics let him get up and walk around. That is a HUGE no-no.
I'm sure you handled the situation the best that you could, and your neighbor is lucky that you were there to help.

That sucks. Thankfully you were there (I can't believe the paramedics let him get UP. I'm no medical professional but I know better than that!). My thoughts are with you, your neighbor and his family smile
