So I just woke up and have a shit ton of things to do today. But as I am sitting here drinking coffee I have noticed something that I just wanted to mention.

Why are some people elite, or at least act like they are so elite and perfect on this site?

I know for a fact I am not perfect, nor am I elite. I am a dirty rotten son of a bitch most of the time, and semi intelligent and sweet other times. I try to be nice but sometimes I cannot be, I cannot say I try to say the most politically correct things in the world, and never tolerate bullshit.

Am I wrong in asking this question or have other people found this from some people as well? It reminds me of cliques in fucking HS and quite frankly it makes me sad.

I suspect that every environment, be it work, social settings, web sites with naked females or high school, has its own politics. We must be wired that way. The older one gets the sillier the whole thing seems. Since this site is populated with young and beautiful women and mostly young and horny men the whole "office politics" of it seems pointless to old farts such as myself (and younger farts like you).

As to the question you posed on my page, I am not involved with the LHC, I'm just a fan, so to speak. Your idea sounded interesting but I suspect not feasible (especially financially) for now. As for the ultimate accelerator, Leonard Susskind suggested that in order to accelerate a particle to the Planck mass the accelerator would have to be at least as big as our galaxy! Try getting funding for THAT.
