Matt's services are on Saturday in Naples. Mouse told me not to come down for them, it's going to be a family only thing. She said it would pay better tribute to him to live life to the fullest and continue with my plans to go surfing. Basically she told me to go do what I love to do most, what I live for, as that is something that Matt would appreciate most. So I will do my own private tribute paddle-out for him, light a candle and let it float away.

Most of my camping/ surfing gear is ready, I'm leaving Saturday morning and will be back later next week sometime.

Hint: acquire the new Public Enemy album. Seriously. Damn! Wow! Amazing. Chuck D has been preaching truth and positivity for twenty years and it only gets better every album. Even if you aren't a big hip/hop/rap fan, it's well worth at least one listen.

If I haven't mentioned it enough recently, the SGPhilly group are some of my favorite people ever. Word.
