I went bowling with SGLA, I had fun, and then I drove home. Shortly after arriving at my temporary abode and subsequently checking my email, I made a discovery of George Eliot tier irony. A bank that shall remain nameless apologized for a mistake on their end, and informed me of how when processing a check about a week ago a decimal point was misplaced.
Hence forth I have enough money to go eat breakfast (once) at IHOP and still feel comfy about my finances. This is not however, in any way related to the eighty dollar hold that a nameless hotel will not release, as they claim it doesnt exist. So a good portion of my Excel spreadsheets will remain grey or red for near thirty more days.
Enough with the dissatisfaction, onward to pleasant discoveries:
1) I now have friends.
2) I now have comments on my journal. Yes, I know its just hello, etc. It counts to me, and on this page, if that fits your fancy not, well, go perform an act on yourself that, although precise etymology is unclear, may have first been written by a Scottish poet around the 1500s.
3) I am loving SGLA
4) I met a fierce falcon
5) I really hope certain person(s) have not yet left the Los Angeles area; as conversation (when I am not feeling frail and fevered) could be thoroughly delightful.

This is what happens when I read too many threads, or discover mp3 links in journals. No, wait, this is what happens when I find new (to me) Danny Elfman.
