Update: I have 2 jobs again yay!!!! Funny thing is, I work at Steak N Shake and City Lights Martini Lounge! I know, I know, I quit Steak N Shake and they absolutley do not re-hire anyone that quits or gets fired, but apparently in my case I'm "special". I went in to SNS to drop off my work gear and pick up my last check on Wednesday and while I was there my GM Don came up to me and said, "We need to talk in the back for a minute" I got Jade situated while he trailed off to the banquet room and then I met him in there and he was on his fucking knees begging me to come back to SNS! Can you fucking believe it?
Seriously, my GM got on his knees for me and two weeks ago he was threatening me with termination if I showed up late one more time and put me on a 30 day behavior/punctuality enforcement probationary period, how rediculous that I quit and less than a week after I quit he's telling me I am needed! I find it so ironic that two weeks ago he felt like he could replace the One and Only Zeriah in a snap (I took it as he was bullying me as usual to manipulate me into "better job performance" but when he threatened my job I said, "Fuck this, I'll find someone that appreciates all the shit I do for my place of employment" and quit and his tune changed to where I am his only hope and he "didn't realize how great I am at what I do and how much I have saved their asses when they were stuck".
It's true, it has to be, because I have pulled so many double shifts when no one else would, I have done extra shit for them, I learned every station in that store and have basically run that store on my own a couple times while waiting for the third shift cook or server. I am the one they know they can call on my only day off on whatever week and save them from whatever crisis they may be having without hesitation, no other server would dare come in on their day off unless they were desperate for money or they were bribbed. I do it voluntarily and finally Don has noticed this. He finally realized I am more than helpful when it comes to that shit, I might not be on time, but I DO help them out whenever they need it whether it's convienient for me or not, I drop what I'm doing and go to aide them. Go figure. So I accepted his plea and said I would only come back if I could work mornings since Jade is in Day Care now.
So now I work there Monday through Sunday or whatever from 11a.m. to about 3:30 or 4p.m. Then I work at City Lights in down town Saint Joe (inside the Clarion Hotel) Wednesdays (Kareokee night) from 8:30p.m. to close and Friday & Saturday (Live Band nights) from 8 P.M. to close. How sweet is that?!?! I'm super stoked. The only problems I have had with the bar so far is old guys making passes at me and a creepy Mexican stalker guy that tries to kiss me whenever I bring him another beer. Other than that my job there is a slice of gold
So there you have it, if you wanna come see me you know when and where I'll be on whatever day of the week....so surprise me with a visit and a nice tip *wink*. Until next time take care.

However, kidding aside, don't swallow all of that GM's line of manure. You are good, to be sure, and he needs you now, but as soon as he finds somebody who's half as good as you, he'll be on your ass again. Been there, done that sort of thing. CYA!
