My husbands grandmother passed away last night. Didn't go to work today, too sad .
We were over at his uncles house where she was staying for her last two weeks and she was in the living room holding a stuffed kitty and dressed and cleaned up in the recliner. It was really sad. I had only met her once and she was such a spitfire.
She has had Alzheimer's for a while. so we knew this day would come, but it still is always a shock when someone you love dies. I have never been that close to a dead person before except for my dear friend Steve's funeral.
My poor Husband is a wreck, well, his whole family is. We also canceled our trip to the loan officer. This was far more important right now. The funeral for her is Saturday at noon. Bummers.. again!

I feel so helpless for them all... but there is nothing I can do but be there.
