Yeah, I tried my absolute best and it was impossible to make it. 
I'm really bummed that I missed out on the fun and I wasted $100 on concert tickets, but I guess that was better than getting stranded in the middle of fucking nowhere UtahKansasWherever.

No, there's absolutely nothing wrong with making out with boys. I don't make out with boys, but I do like to be made out with. Whichever side of it you're on, it's okay! Hope I didn't give you the impression that it wasn't!
