Patient coding and then passing away during the first during the first hour of the shift makes for a very long and somber day at work. I still have five hours to go. Haven't had shift this shitty in a long time.

After about six hours of everyone being sad and upset about the earlier events me and a co-worker decided it was our duty as the shift comedians/pranksters to cheer everyone up. We went downstairs to montain care borrowed some costumes and cd player. Doug got his rod stewart greatest hits cd and we put on a lip-synching show for everyone. We took turns singing and dancing and it definitly helped cheer everyone up. Thats one of the few things I like about my job. We can act silly and goofy and get away with it. So glad we could do something to make ourselves and everyone else feel better.
