with no food or sleep, the show at conan's went surprisingly well... all stops were pulled out in the name of maximum rock n roll. and for once, its all on tape!
highlights of the evening---
1) while kicking back backstage before the show, mike from lord gore tells me to go check out dave's (the vocalist) arm gauntlet that he's going to wear during his set. i go and pick it up, and its covered in what looks like eyeballs and nondescript viscera.
"Dude this looks fucking real! What is it latex? Silicon?"
"No man those are pig's eyeballs!!"
So now ive got pig guts on my hands.. i toss it to the side and freak out and bolt to the bathroom to wash my hands. Anyone who knows me knows im a germ-phobe. Fuckers!
2) met cool sg kid nestor
3) did some guest vocals for Ghoul's song Ghoul Hunter dressed like a Jumanji-safari hunter guy. Vocal monitors were for shit so I couldnt hear myself at all. Wondered how I got bamboozled into that one. life is weird.
4) our show rolls around and we crush. much moshing abounds. My mic is sticky from lord gore guts stuck to it, and i accidentally lick it during my set. on the inside, i freak out and am sure i have ecoli. outside, i rock the house.
got heckled for the first time too! sweet!
next show is at ash street downtown on the 5th with Watch Them Die, AFM, and Stonecreep (who gets my annual award for worst band name).

i need to get my copy of donnie darko from you, linz said you still had it, and i don't, so i guess she must be right. anyway, i'm taking a little trip in two weeks, so maybe if i could get it before then...if not, that's cool too.
