didn't think it was possible, but you've just gotten a kabillion times more amazing since i've found out stuff from skinny re: your band/horror fixation. my husband's a huge g.i.joe fan, we've got all the movies (for saturday afternoon wake'n bake), he's got the cobra tattoo, comics, action figures...i guess if you were a kid in the 80's it's hard not to be affected by them. i wasn't into g.i. joe at all at the time, but my little brother loved them so after school we'd watch thundercats and gi joe every day. i thought zartan was neat (him and his crew changing their appearances and stuff was neat), destro was the only muthafucka in the cobra scene who really made me sit up and pay attention. cobra was like an old bitter drag queen to me, but still a neat, creepy character. i loved how they had hidden headquarters all over the place: the bottom of the ocean, the middle of the desert...cool. so yeah,
