So it's late, I'm annoyed as hell, and my apartment needs to cool down, so you get the weekly update post haste tonight. Yes, no need to tempt me with sex this time, tho goodness knows I could use it.
I dunno what the deal with Knobby is lately, maybe he's in a DJ slump, but he's been below par recently booo. Tonight was a SGPhilly event at Nocturne, and the music sucked. I didn't even get to hang with the group all that much, cause they all drink like fish in the bar and I'm not much of a drinker hehe. Plus, the music is normally way worse downstairs, but tonight might have been an exception. At any rate, a fond hello to all the people I saw. Now on to why I'm annoyed.
Two weeks ago I met a couple girls, Tina and Rachel. To make a boring story shorter, Tina starts dating my friend Dan and I got my eye on Rachel. OK then, right? Well, her computer is broken so I offer to fix it for her cause I'm a nice guy. We hang out Monday night, have a great time, I fix it Tuesday, bring it to the club tonight. We're in the club and she says hey, what do I owe you for fixing it? I say well, my normal rate is 35 an hour, I worked for 6 hours, so $210, or, you can take me out to dinner. Sweet plan right? I thought so. She looks me dead in the face and says how about I write you a check after I get paid Friday? Bwah?!?!?!? I kinda stare at her and say you'd rather pay $210 than go spend $40 on a dinner with me? She responds with well, what kind of dinner are we talking about? So, bottom line is she'd rather spend $210 than go on something resembling a date with me. Wow.
Now hey I realize I'm no Brad Pitt here, but damn. I don't have leprosy and am actually a pretty engaging fellow. As far as I know, I was in her good graces, and can't think of where I might have messed up. Rachel and Tina are really good friends, so Dan is gonna try and find out WTF is up with Rachel from Tina, but that was a blow to the pride. I've been shot down before, and I'm sure I'll get shot down again, but to have it exactly laid out in monetary units like that is flabberghasting. Yikes.
So, I rescheduled the Baltimore trip for this Monday coming up, we'll see if Rhapsody cancels again. If she does, Squeak invited me to the shore with her for her trip, so at least I'll get to go to the beach and drown my sorrows in the ocean with one helluva great chica for a day. Since my breakup, it's been Girls 9, Zen 0. I guess I'll keep swinging that bat, Ms. Right could be just around the corner, eh? Peace my friends.
