Ahhh Mondays... A day where we get a fresh feeling, the week that lays ahead is our blank slate. I'm not one of those people who curse Mondays - after all, it's not Monday's fault that it is the first day after the week-end. I embrace Mondays for what they are to me... the clean slate, a new chance to get shit done and work hard... earn your weekend, so to speak. Today, where I am, it is an extraordinarily beautiful and brisk winter day. The kind that makes your cheeks rosy and nose run. I love that feeling, especially accompanied by a hot cup of strong coffee.
Today, I write. Write write write... such is life as a grad student. Hopefully I will have a few moments of pure genius and make some progress on my manuscript!
