My cat has been waking me up at night because she snores, It's not really loud, but just noticable enough to get my attention and then keep while i struggle to go back to sleep. It's not like my snoring keeps her awake. She falls asleep while eating sometimes. munch much, yawn, lays down.
Bin laden's recent announcement was very interesting. From an american war machine perspective, it's propaganda, for those that oppose the war, it's puts the blame for continuing the war in bushes hands. these so-called "terrorists" are quite brilliant. If we think they are less than that, we are undermining our own efforts. the argument for or against the war is so convoluted. Neither side is going to convince the other that the war should continue or that there is legitimate reason to pullout. Hopefully, we don't fuck ourselves too badly before our actions speak for themselves.
I really try not to get involved in the will of others. yes, I oppose the war. I oppose a lot of things. but those that wish to fight it will fight it while using what they consider to be "american" and "anti-american" as their basis to justify their cause. And the vocal opposition will use what it feels are it's morals to oppose the war. I feel I'd rather stand for what I believe in, putting my efforts towards identifying and pursuing my highest aims: spiritually to attain oneness with the universe and materially to do so under the guise of an ARTIST living my life as creatively as possible. While I am not currently the pinancle of that ideal, I am building the foundation. It's something and it doesn't devote energy towards "self-justified violence" or providing further justification to the war machine by opposing them. The america I represent is about setting an example of decency and creative spirit. Love for the misguided that they might see the way and love for myself when I "think" I am on the "right" path when I am infact deluded and wandering aimlessly. What is right and what is wrong are only answered in the end. When is their ever an ending?

I'm weird when it comes to conflict and such. I hate war but I enjoy war movies. I don't condone violence and yet I love Ultimate Fighter and the UFC.
Maybe I do hate war but I like stories about people rising above and I like UFC because dammit, that's just the male testosterone in me! ooogh... i dunno... sometimes I'm just a walking oxymoron.
