Alternative spellings are a good idea too.

I've seen others do something like that, even the same name spelled slightly differently.

Yeah, dreads are no different from any long hair in terms of how dirty they get. I wash mine just the same. They're a lot of work, but worth it. I've yet to meet a lady who's into them enough to tell me though, so we need more girls like you.
