Bunch has happened since my last bloggity-blog.
Had a great time in Vegas (always do), saw Evil Dead The Musical 6 times while there. I've been back again since (for my B-Day in July). It's bordering on obsession really, but hey, everyone needs a vice. I did the usual drinking, wandering and of course saw Evil Dead The Musical again (only 2 times tho). People often ask, "How can you afford to go? You must win big." My answer is always the same. "I don't gamble, aside from the odd slots.", so it's not too hard to go down for 7, 8 or 12 days like I do.
That brings me to my next trip... Halloween again in Vegas. WOOT! :D Halloween in Vegas is always a blast. Evil Dead, again, is a must see at Halloween. They spiff up the show and add more blood (yay more blood!) Anyone who hasn't seen it, I highly recommend. It's always a great time. I'll be down from Oct 29th to Nov 6th and staying at the Stratosphere Hotel.
On the personal front, my Mom isn't doing too good. She's been to Doctors and specialists and they don't know what's wrong. She has difficulty walking, dizziness, slurred speech and spends 23hrs a day in bed, which isn't helping the issue. They've suspected everything from TIAs (mini-strokes), to Dementia, to a handful of other random things, and nothing comes back conclusive. It's so, so frustrating seeing your Mother wither away in front of you and you don't know why. I live with her and have for a few years now (since she started getting sick) so I'm around it all the time. It's a battle between wanting to yell at her to get up and go for walks, and not wanting to yell at her, cause it's not really her fault. GUH! Anywho...
Happy fun time thoughts! Vegas in 2 months. Evil Dead Toronto in November. Living Colour next month. Protest The Hero also next month. Periphery in October. GWAR in December. Some big things, some small things, all things to keep me looking forward.
