9 weeks from now, I'll be back in Las Vegas. Guh, can't come soon enough. Not whining or complaining about my life here, just, it's Vegas! Just so happens to be my favorite city in the world... having not seen the "world", it's subjective, but I do greatly enjoy that fabulously crazy city.
Normally I stay at the lovely Luxor, but to be cost effective (i.e. save a few hundred bucks), I'm gonna stay at the Stratosphere. It seems like a solid place, plus free admission up the tower is a solid bonus... and again, saving $500 also helps. Main negative is no free WiFi, but there's enough places around for that, so I think I'll live.
Obviously I'll be seeing Evil Dead The Musical again... and again and again. They should be up to 4 shows a week by then, so with any luck, I'll get to see up to 8 shows, depending on when they run them. Normal shows are Fri/Sat, but they're adding 2 more, just don't know when yet.
I think I'll also take a jaunt out to the Grand Canyon again. Vegas is my favorite city in the world, but the Grand Canyon is THE most beautiful place in the world. Skydiving may also be in the cards, pending cost.
There's also a music festival in town the week (or the 11 days) I'm down for. Volumes, Killswitch Engage and Animals As Leaders are playing, so that's a sure possibility.
Lastly, the great people at Evil Dead The Musical do The Walking Dead viewing parties, and the first weekend I'm there, will be the season finale. So yea, I'm SO going. :)
This is going to be a solo trip, since the two guys I normally go with can't go. One guy is cheap (to be fair, he's moving) and my other buddy is pretty sick at the moment. He'd love to go, but his condition doesn't bode well for traveling. I'll be having a drink or two in his honor... or three.
(sigh), now, to wait 62 days. :/
