I keep forgetting that I have an active SG account again and when I remember I feel stupid for forgetting in the first place.
Anyway I've been busy with work and learning every station in the cafe so I can finally make the promotion official and get my pay-rise. I have fallen in love with the coffee machine and I will fight for my right to work at that station as much as possible. There's just something beguiling about the scent of fresh coffee grind and hot milk...
Before I lose my train of thought again I thought I might share some pretty cool news that has occurred since the last time I did a proper blog entry.
1) Murdoch hired me to be an 'official' blogger with a rather convoluted payment system. This is my first ever paid writing gig and I think it's pretty awesome.
2) A group portfolio I did with some friends got exhibited at the Uni as an example of exceptional student work. This portfolio was a supernatural themed and I was responsible for the actual shooting and my good friend Leo did all the editing.
3) I have moved into a group house with some of my closest friends and I am loving it. Sometimes these kinds of moves can be disastrous but we really seem to have a good dynamic going. One of my flat-mates has rats though and we all agree that they do not make good pets.
So that's kind of a mini-update of 3 of the best things that have happened this year (and honestly there are a lot more). Let's see if I can remember to keep this bit regularly updated.
