ALRIGHT!!!!!!!! Made it thru Ike, finally got electricity back and am now sitting down to enjoy an ice cold glass of white wine!!! So much meat to cook tho!!! Thankfully no vegetarians here!! (no offence). Got freinds from Jersey village coming over to sleep and enjoy the ac, some co workers of moms coming over tomorrow for some cold wine so lots of social times here. Nice to have things back to normal but at the same time, I was kind of enjoying the heat, the natural light, the natural effect of the whole thing. Simple things like sitting reading as opposed to vegging on the tv. Doors open, enjoying the natural breeze as opposed to the hum of all the electric goods throughout the house. I wondered thru the neighbourhood helping shift limbs etc. Made me feel useful as opposed to sitting doing fuck all seeing as we were not remotely harmed. Also set up a gym in the garage keeping my mom, dad and myself in shape. we've all gained like a million lbs from all the food and booze consumed in the past 48hours. So, we're good. I hope everyone else out there is ok. Let me know what's going on in the good state of Texas!!!!!

P.S. The bad news, the guy I was seeing/is seeing (I don't know, very confused), his grandpa passed away today. How do you make someone smile in such a dire circumstance? Any suggestions. I'll do anything (apart from fly up there because IAH isn't open) xoxoxoxo
