I've been reading a lot about Dov Charney from American Apparel lately, and I have to tell you it's very disturbing to me. The guy walks around his factory naked with a towel over his wang, tells his workers that seeing his cock is part of the job description, brags about sleeping with his workers & thinks feminism is bunk. His attitudes towards women are downright disturbing, and it seriously makes me wonder whether I want to continue to buy his product or not.
Check out this article from Jewlicious and make up your own mind about Mr. Charney. I say he's a sexist megalomaniac. It's really sad cos I do love AmApp's gear.
It also makes me hope people don't perceive me the same way as him. I do use a lot of sexxed-up pictures on my web site and in ads, but I would really hate to think that anyone thought I was out to exploit women. I was raised surrounded by tons of sisters & aunts and have a deep love and respct for women. The girls who model my stuff do their own pictures and have fun doing it- there's no coercion. I am a red-blooded male and I love to look at a sexy woman as much as the next guy, but that's just one aspect of life. My mom is a PHD, my sister runs a successful business and I have known so many strong, intelligent females over the years. And Dov Charney's attitude towards women makes me ill. You need to grown up, rich boy.

it makes me want to cry when you exploit me like you do. exploiter. frown
and sure, you don't agree with this guy, it sounds like he blows, but they do have great product and i mean... it's people seeing his wang. not making small chinese children work for negative three cents a day or whatever. ha.
