I want to thank you all for your support. As always. It humbles me.

The only thing I hate more than being unemployed is looking for work. Granted, I am still employed at the moment, but it's precarious - and I hate this job enough that it'll be nearly impossible for me to fight for it.

I'd just like to have a job that I'm not ashamed of, you know?

Anyway. In anticipation of potential instability, I blew altogether too much my last paycheck stocking up on beefsteaks, sex toys, and a bottle of Lagavulin (a shot from from the last of which I am enjoying even now).

I feel pretty much recovered (I really did just need one day of rest), and, as it happened, I had a very pleasant finish to yesterday's annoyances.

Life could be worse.
