Election day, and I have no hope.
I fully expect the Republicans to retain power and continue to wreck the world, until all that's left are teeming billions of diseased, poverty-stricken cannibalistic religious fanatics reduced to selling their organs for pocket change to obscenely wealthy, pale-skinned cybervampires.
Which I suppose would at least make a good graphic novel (don't get too excited, I've copyrighted it), but it's not really how I want to spend my retirement years, you know?

The inspiration for the Hamilton shirt came from this. I thought it was cute. It's amusing to see how a little thing like that (which I doubt was even a possibility, anyway) can ruffle some folks' feathers. Without naming names, a member here had once commented in my journal about how he doubted it meant anything, how it was normal for men to be affecionate in letters to each other, yadda yadda. I get it.
