*ahem* I now direct your attention to a beautiful poem, little miss spikybluegirl wrote for me....

Teaching me the contours of your body from over a thousand miles away,
You display hip bone and clavicle for my approval
Each vein and artery on the road map from me to you.

Your skin keeps me near.
I always think I know you until you turn the lens, then tilt me to some new point of view.
All of the nothing I understand about art
Never prepared me for a shadow falling on your cheek,
Or the delicate arch of a nostril.
Somehow I know what it is to walk on the moon, watching the eclipse of light glaring across your shoulders.

To change position, you purse your lips, then grimace, lost in thought. Always the artist, I can see you determining light and shadow in your thoughts.
The gentle twist of a curl rests against your lip, simple and strong.
Posing as though I would try to paint you, we sit for hours while I learn the curve of your elbow.

I hope to someday find you between the frames.
