Well, I have decided to take my artwork in a new direction; something I had planned on doing a long time ago but forgot. So let's start off with a few things...
Since I detest the fake, bullshit Barbie doll image that many magazines produce, I decided a long time ago to only draw women as they really look in something called "reality." This has served me well. I love to draw the girls of I guess what could be called, the counter-culture. Punk rockers, goth chick, rockabilly, psychobilly, head bangers, etc. This is simply because I don't really see any one else doing this much, and throw me in with the counter-culture too since I don't go along with the mindless herd that goes along with whatever is trendy at the moment. How lame is that?
So in addition to what I am doing with my work, I will also be doing 50's, 60's and 70's style pin-ups too. This is the big news and unfortunately it took a paragraph to get around to the beef.
I have a massive collection of Playboys from the 50's, 60's and 70's; 1970's Oui Magazines and Penthouse magazines and I just found a few websites that have scans of the pics from these old magazines too. I am highly impressed by the colors, poses and compositions that I feel that this is how my work should look too.
So anyway, that's the news here. In addition to what I have been doing, I'm now doing retro pin-ups as well. Since you all pretty much like my work and what I've put out so far, let me know what you think. Do you have any ideas as to what you'd like to see? Let me know...seriously.
With that, I'll get back to my tanker truck cup of coffee and have another smoke...then maybe I'll actually do some work in the office.

I'll live, it just sucks when my friends ask me to smoke now, because I have to continue cutting back because weed affects it too! I like retro pin-ups, I will be happy to see your new stuff of the old ladies
